At NK Little League

We stand for a safe and respectful sporting environment where everyone can enjoy participating.

This code of conduct is intended to ensure respect, trust, and a safe, positive, and inspiring environment in which all participants can grow, work together, and enjoy the sport.

Organization

  • Safe Environment
    Provide a physically and emotionally safe environment in which participants, coaches, and spectators feel welcome and respected.

  • Equal Opportunities
    Promote inclusivity by offering equal opportunities for everyone to participate, regardless of age, gender, background, or beliefs.

  • Support and Facilities
    Provide sufficient support, guidance, and facilities for coaches, participants, and spectators to ensure activities run smoothly and enjoyably.

  • Communication and Transparency
    Communicate clearly and in a timely manner about policies, rules, agreements, and changes. Make sure all those involved are informed.

  • Incidents and Complaints
    Handle incidents and complaints professionally and carefully according to established procedures. Ensure fair treatment of all involved.

  • Role Model Function
    As an organization, set an example in honesty, respect, and commitment to the core values of sport and education.

  • Continuity and Quality
    Work continuously on improving programmes, guidance, and infrastructure to maintain a high standard.

  • Collaboration and Responsibility
    Work together with parents, coaches, and other stakeholders to create a positive and safe culture. Take responsibility for your own actions and decisions.

Parents / Spectators

  • Respect and Positivity
    Show respect to all involved, including players, coaches, umpires, and other spectators. Use positive and constructive language.

  • Encouraging Fair Play
    Promote
    sportsmanship, fair play, and respect for the rules among all participants.

  • Sideline Behaviour
    Be supportive and avoid criticism, shouting, or inappropriate remarks towards players, coaches, or umpires.

  • Support and Involvement
    Encourage children to do their best, regardless of the result, and value their effort and enjoyment.

  • No Interference with Coaching
    Leave the coaching to the trainers. Avoid giving instructions to children during games or training sessions.

  • Setting an Example
    Be a role model by showing respectful behaviour and sportsmanship, both on and off the field.

  • Safety and Care
    Help create a safe and positive environment by reporting and avoiding aggression, bullying, or unacceptable behaviour.

  • Respect for Facilities
    Treat the sports venue and its surroundings with care; do not leave litter behind and be considerate of others.

Trainers / Coaches

  • Professionalism
    Act with respect, integrity, and care for all participants, regardless of age, gender, background, or beliefs.

  • Safety
    Create a safe environment in which participants feel physically and emotionally protected.

  • Respectful Communication
    Use positive and motivating language; avoid insults, humiliation, or inappropriate behaviour.

  • Confidentiality
    Protect participants’ personal information and share it only with consent or when legally required.

  • Boundary Respect
    Respect personal boundaries and avoid any form of intimidation, bullying, or unwanted physical contact.

  • Role Model Function
    Be a role model by demonstrating honesty, sportsmanship, and commitment.

  • Continuity and Accountability
    Strive for personal and professional development and take responsibility for your own behaviour.

  • Compliance with Rules and Procedures
    Follow the organisation’s guidelines and report incidents immediately.
