We consider the following information important for you:

duty to report

At NK Little League

We stand for a safe and respectful sporting environment where everyone can enjoy participating.

If the report concerns sexual harassment or match-fixing, you must report this to the Institute for Sports Law (ISR). Doping must be reported to the Doping Authority. The handling of these reports has been delegated to the ISR.

Sexual harassment

The duty to report sexual harassment means, in short, the following:

As soon as a member of the board of a club or federation suspects a situation in which sexual harassment or sexual abuse has occurred or is occurring, he or she is obliged to report this to the federation. When supervisors know of such a situation, they are obliged to report it to the board of the club. A report can also be made directly to the ISR.

All other members have the responsibility to report to the board of the club when there is a reasonable suspicion of a violation of sexual harassment, unless this cannot reasonably be expected.

The KNBSB / NK Little League underlines the importance of this duty to report. We would like to draw attention to This infographiceze, which provides guidance on reporting and how the process works.

Match-fixing

The duty to report match-fixing means that members of the KNBSB are obliged to immediately report actions, suspicious activities, incidents, and similar matters that may relate to match-fixing.
Discouraging or preventing others from making a report is also a violation of the match-fixing regulations.

Doping

A report concerning doping must be made to the  Doping Authority. All members can report doping cases or information about possible doping violations to the Doping Authority or to the KNBSB. If the KNBSB receives a report about a possible doping violation, we are obliged to forward it to the Doping Authority.

The ISR is the body that imposes a disciplinary measure in the case of a doping violation established by the Doping Authority.

In addition, various support services can be contacted confidentially, such as the Centre for Sexual Violence, your general practitioner, the Public Health Service (GGD), , Victim Support Netherlands.Veilig Thuis (Domestic Violence Hotline), and the Centre for Safe Sport. With the latter, you can also get in touch anonymously via chat outside office hours.
