Our Confidential Contact Person (VCP)
As Little League Netherlands, we have set ourselves the goal of working towards a safe sporting climate. This naturally includes a safe environment. Just as in our culture, we strive for the freedom to say what you want, the freedom to be who you are, and the freedom to address each other about unwanted behaviour. All of this, of course, without hurting one another. An important part of providing a safe climate is the appointment of a Confidential Contact Person (VCP)
My name is Erika Dechamps and I am the Confidential Contact Person (VCP) within Little League Netherlands. As VCP, I am the first point of contact for those involved in NK Little League (players, parents, spectators, volunteers, etc.) who have a complaint or a question about the way we interact with each other. I provide a listening ear, give advice where possible, and, when necessary, act as an intermediary between those involved and the confidential advisor or integrity manager of the KNBSB. You can come to me with any questions if you are unsure about the behaviour of teammates, coaches, or others.
You can ask me questions about the following topics:
As a VCP, I am bound by confidentiality. This means that I will not share any information about you with others (third parties) without first discussing it with you. The only exception is if the matter involves a criminal offence.
For urgent matters, I can be reached by phone at 06 – 53 80 33 62.
For less urgent matters, you can contact me via WhatsApp or send an email to: erika@nkll.nl.
I am not available 24/7, but I will always do my best to respond to you as quickly as possible.
If you prefer to get in touch with someone who is more independent from the organization, you can also contact the NOC*NSF reporting centre:
By phone, they are available on weekdays from 08:30 to 17:30 at 0900 – 220 55 90 (€ 0.10 per minute).
In the evenings and at night, they are available via chat, , seven days a week.
